Alex joined Community Therapists in 2022. She completed her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Dalhousie University in 2020. Prior to this she completed her Master of Arts in 2018 as well as her Bachelor of Design in Communications in 2013. Prior to joining CTI Alex worked in private practice where she gained experience providing occupational therapy services for clients funded by WorkSafeBC, ICBC, VAC, and private insurance.
Alex has worked with clients in the areas of mental health, concussion management, traumatic psychological injury, hand therapy, chronic pain, return to work planning, and equipment provision. Additionally, she has provided OT services for two long-term care facilities where she completed equipment prescription, seating and positioning treatments as well as fall prevention initiatives. Alexandra provides Home Health, Concussion/TBI, Mental Health and Return to Work Rehabilitation services in Vancouver, Burnaby and the North Shore.
