In recognition of her work with the UBC MOT program’s Vocational Rehabilitation module and her recent appointment as the lead instructor for this course, we are happy to report that Monita Khaira Sandhu has been appointed the rank of Clinical Instructor by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at UBC.
Monita’s clinical faculty appointment begins July 1st 2020 and will conclude June 30, 2025. The UBC MOT Vocational Rehabilitation module combines theoretical and practical training in Functional Capacity Evaluation, Job Demands Analysis, Return-to-Work Rehabilitation and Disability Management. As the lead Clinical Instructor, Monita leads a team of lab instructors in delivering this multifaceted and experiential curriculum which equips students for entry level practice in vocational rehabilitation.
