Controller
Amy joined Community Therapists in 2006 as an Accounting Assistant. Through continued professional development and mentorship, she was promoted to the position of Junior Accountant, and subsequently to the position of Controller.
In her current role, Amy is responsible for maintaining the general ledger, preparing financial statements, month end reporting, payroll and statutory filings, completing ad-hoc analyses and reports, and the development and documentation of accounting department policies and procedures. Amy received her professional accounting designation from the Certified General Accountants Association in 2012. She is a Dean's Honour List graduate, and obtained her Honours Bachelor of Commerce Degree in 2011 from Laurentian University. She also holds a Financial Management degree from BCIT, and a Foundation Studies in Accounting Diploma from CGA.
DANIAL
Bachelor of Computer Technology
IT Manager
Danial joined Community Therapists in 2013. He completed a Bachelor of Computer Technology from Simon Fraser University in 2013. Prior to joining Community Therapists, Danial worked in a variety of tech related roles including Webcast Producer and Webcast Technician for Neulion. He began as a Desktop Support technician and through mentorship, self-study and hard work, he gained the skills to serve as Community Therapists' IT Manager beginning in 2018.
Danial is responsible for implementing and maintaining a variety of information technology and telephony systems. He establishes data security policies, leads the implementation of IT projects and provides supervision and guidance for the IT Support Technician. Danial works with leadership to ensure IT systems evolve to support practice growth, data security and improved functionality for all users.
DANIELLA
Office Assistant
Daniella joined Community Therapists in 2023 as an Administrative Assistant and has now transitioned to become an Office Assistant. She has completed her Associate in Arts diploma from Capilano University and is currently working towards her Bachelor Degree in Sociology from UBC.
Daniella’s past roles include working as a Digital Marketing Strategist as well as working in the hospitality industry. As an office assistant, Daniella is responsible for reception duties, distributing mail, discharging clinical records and completing a variety of data entry tasks. Other duties include administrative support for director projects.
EVA

HR & Project Manager
Eva joined Community Therapists in 2020 as an HR Coordinator. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2017 from UBC and is currently working towards her HR Management Certification and is a CHRP candidate. She was promoted to the position of HR Manager in 2022 and subsequently, HR and Project Manager in 2023.
In her role as CTI’s HR & Project Manager, Eva completes select recruiting, on-boarding, OH&S and benefits administration functions to support the practice. Additionally, she supervises the Service Coordination team, liaises with IT and completes a range of projects to improve operational efficiency and optimize our team's use of IT applications. Eva is fluent in Mandarin..
HANA

Service Coordinator
Hana joined Community Therapists’ office administration team in 2023 after receiving her Bachelor of Science Degree in Behavioural Neuroscience from Simon Fraser University in 2023. Prior to joining CTI, Hana worked as a Behavioural Interventionist. In this role she assisted therapists and specialists to implement behavioural strategies for youth with Autism.
Hana’s prior work experience also includes work as a receptionist, a project assistant for the Centre of Health Evaluation and Outcome Sciences at St. Paul’s and a coach and referee for youth soccer in the lower mainland. After a short period of work as an administrative assistant, Hana was promoted to the position of Service Coordinator. She is responsible for processing all WorkSafeBC referrals and providing information about our services to members of the public and our funders
JENNIFER
BA, Psych.
Service Coordinator
Jennifer joined Community Therapists in 2022 as a Service Coordinator after receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from UBC in 2022. Prior to joining CTI, Jennifer worked as a lifeguard and instructor at various pools. Additionally she previously worked as a Behavioural Interventionist. In this role she provided support to young children with Autism along with a behaviour support team.
As a Service Coordinator, Jennifer is responsible for processing rehabilitation and kinesiology referrals, providing administrative supervision for the kinesiology team, and providing information about our services to members of the public and our funders. Jennifer also provides administrative support such as discharging clinical records and coordinating meetings. Jennifer speaks Cantonese and conversational Mandarin.
KITTY
B.SC
Office Assistant
Kitty joined Community Therapists in 2024. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Food, Nutrition and Health from the University of British Columbia. Prior to joining Community Therapists Kitty worked as a Quality Assurance Administrator for a pharmaceutical company as well as a robotics firm. She gained experience in supporting different departments, such as Health & Safety, Engineering, and Project Management and developed proficiency in creating and revising templates and forms using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and Adobe Acrobat. Furthermore, she proofread and formatted company documents, such as Standard Operating Procedures, Certificate of Analyses, and 50+ detailed project reports requiring specified standards and time-sensitive delivery.
Kitty is a member of our report processing team and is responsible for formatting and distributing a variety of clinical reports and other documents. She also completes a variety of administrative tasks to update internal systems and payer portals as well as process requests for clinical records.
LAURA

Operations & HR Manager
Laura joined Community Therapists in 2012. She received her Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Human Resources from Kwantlen Polytechnic University and in 2013 achieved the designation of Charted Professional in Human Resources (CPHR).
In 2019, she was promoted to her current role and in this capacity she is responsible for all non-accounting administrative functions and personnel, facilities management, human resources, benefits administration, coordination of staff training and orientation and OH&S. Laura is also CTI's Privacy Officer and her other portfolios include legal, corporate insurance, RFPs and special projects. Working in collaboration with clinical directors and the accounting manager, Laura develops and implements systems and policies to facilitate efficient and effective service delivery and manages the interface between clinical services and operations.

Accounting Assistant
Mia joined Community Therapists in 2023 as an Administrative Assistant. In 2024 she moved into the accounting department. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The University of Otago, New Zealand in 2020.
Mia’s past roles include working in various administrative positions where she provided reception services, report formatting and accounting support. As one of CTI’s Accounting Assistants, Mia processes time sheets and expense reimbursement requests. She posts AR and AP entries, assists with invoice submissions, and completes collections activities. Mia also assists with other accounting duties and projects as assigned.
RAPHAEL

Administrative Assistant
Raphael joined Community Therapists in 2020 as an Administrative Assistant after receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from UBC. Prior to joining CTI, Raphael worked in a media company working with a team to help develop apps and games.
He also worked as a Finance Division Intern where he gained practical experience in journal entries, collections, invoicing, and arranging account statements. As an Administrative Assistant, Raphael is responsible for formatting and distributing clinical reports and other documents as well as client data entry.
ROBYN

Junior Accountant
Robyn completed her Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering in 2017 and subsequently completed a Diploma in Accounting in 2021. She joined Community Therapists in 2022 and is a CPA candidate currently enrolled in the CPA Core Program.
Prior to joining Community Therapists, Robyn gained experience in a “Big 5” accounting firm where she developed skills to support the audit & compliance deliverables for their public company clients. She also gained experience in expense processing, grant applications and inter-departmental fiscal allocations as well as supplier payment workflows in the post secondary education sector. As a junior accountant with Community Therapists, she completes employee payroll, invoicing, the preparation of information management reports, select collections tasks and other duties to support the department.

Junior Accountant
Sanob Chan joined Community Therapists in 2013 as an Accounting Assistant and was promoted to Junior Accountant in 2017. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at SFU in 2009 and Diploma in Accounting at UBC in 2012.
Sanob has over 10 years of administrative and customer service experience. As a Junior Accountant with CTI, Sanob assists with preparing month end schedules, invoicing, payroll, special projects and credit reconciliations.
SEAN
BSc
Accounting Assistant
Sean joined Community Therapists in 2022 as an Accounting Assistant. He is presently completing his CPA Prep at CPA Western School of Business. In 2023, he was promoted to the position of Junior Accountant. Prior to joining Community Therapists, Sean gained experience in sales and customer service.
Sean primarily completes collections related tasks to support the accounting department. His duties also include updating billing system records and processing expenses as well as a range of accounting administrative tasks.
Victoria
LLB.
Service Coordinator
Victoria joined Community Therapists in 2022 as an Administrative Assistant and was subsequently promoted to Service Coordinator in the winter of 2022. She previously completed a Bachelor of Laws degree in Venezuela and since arriving in Canada in 2021, she has been enrolled in the Associate of Arts degree program at University Canada West.
Victoria’s past roles have included Marketing Coordinator for Universal Music Argentina, retail sales and HR administration. She is a member of our Service Coordinator team and is responsible for processing a range of referrals and service requests from agencies and provides information about CTI’s programs and services. She also completes communications duties including social media management, advertising and other marketing support functions. Victoria is fluent in Spanish.
